Malton Museum is Ryedale's premier archaeological museum. It is home to a fascinating and imaginatively displayed collection of Roman artefacts discovered locally. In addition, the museum currently hosts a superb exhibition showcasing the work carried out and finds uncovered at the site of local medieval village Wharram Percy.
Situated in the centre of historic Malton, the museum is an essential stop on any visit to the town. Museum includes a Roman Collection and the Wharram Percy exhibition.
As from Spring 2007 we are pleased to welcome Malton Tourist Information Centre into their new home within Malton Museum. This new addition to the museum means we are now able to open throughout the entire year.
