Take a trip back to Wartime to Experience the sights, smells and sounds of the war. This original Prisoner of War camp will transport you back in time, to make you feel that you are there taking part in history. Eden Camp is a Museum with a difference, it is historical, exciting and appeals to all ages and genders!
Situated on the outskirts of the Historical town of Malton, Eden Camp is a popular Wartime tourist attraction that has won many awards over the years it’s been in business. Consisting of over 30 different ‘Huts’, with each one showing different types of Wartime history and many been interactive with visitors, Eden Camp will have something for everyone, whether it be a fun day out or an educational trip for young students to learn about the War.
To add to the entertainment for children there is a two-part assault course for the Tiny Tot Commandos and through the escape tunnel for the potential SAS members.
Eden Camp has places to eat like the Prisoners' Canteen, Officers' Mess Tearooms or the Garrison Cinema Bar. Everywhere is fully accessible to disabled visitors with wheelchairs available for loan free of charge. Also Pets are welcome providing they are kept on a secure lead.
There is free Parking for everyone in the large car park that can hold up to 400 cars and 30 coaches. It is recommended that 3-4 hours are reserved for your visit
Opening Times:
The museum is open from 10.00am to 17.00pm (last admissions at 16.00pm), seven days a week. The museum will close on the 23rd December 2007 and will re-open 14th January 2008
