The Festival aims to showcase the very best produce from the surrounding countryside and with 100 stalls visitors can discover, taste and buy the best that Yorkshire has to offer. As well as the producers, two separate stages will house a series of cookery demonstrations by award-winning chefs to inspire visitors to take to their own stoves.
Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural Beer Festival, 2011 will see a two-day Beer, Wine and Drinks Celebration which will include 40 casks of real ale, ciders and a separate wine bar.
For families there will be the chance to enjoy a Young Chefs’ Competition, a local celebrity “Cook Off”, an Army Kitchen, Bushtucker Trials, Streetfood Stalls together with live music and entertainment throughout the two days.
In only its third year the Malton Food Lovers Festival continues to celebrate the very best of God’s Own County.
