To commemorate next week’s anniversary of Dickens’ death, and 150 years of Great Expectations, we had a rummage in our film archive to see what kind of Dickensian footage we had. Well, we found some splendid clips of wreath-layings by the Dickens fellowship from bygone eras, including during the First World War, plus some brilliant footage of the Bleak House auction, outdoor re-enactments of The Pickwick Papers and all sorts of old newsreels related to Dickens and his legacy!

We’ve written about the clips with links so that people can watch them here: Dickens Film Clips
